The single biggest complaint about school uniforms is that they don’t last. Fabric fades after a few washes, colours bleed in the rain, knees wear through within a term. Most of these problems come down to fabric selection: choosing the cheapest option rather than the right one.
We manufacture school uniform fabrics chosen by garment manufacturers and uniform suppliers who can’t afford returns and complaints. Our fabrics are made to hold up to the way children actually wear uniforms, not the way adults imagine they do.
Fabric Types for School Uniforms
Our school wear range includes Poly-Cotton (PC) blends in 65/35 and 80/20 ratios, combining the breathability and softness of cotton with polyester’s durability and colourfastness. We also manufacture Poly-Viscose (PV) for a smoother hand feel in blazers and formal trousers, and Lycra-blend fabrics for schools moving toward more comfortable, flexible uniform designs.
Available in multiple GSM weights depending on the garment: lighter weights for shirts and blouses, heavier constructions for trousers, skirts, and pinafores.
What We Test For
Every school fabric batch is tested for colourfastness to washing and rubbing, dimensional stability (shrinkage), pilling resistance, and tear strength. Our OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification independently verifies that our fabrics are free from harmful substances. That’s a non-negotiable when the fabric is against a child’s skin for 8 hours a day.
